Living in London
London is a fantastic city, but it can be busy. Here are some tips for navigating daily life.
Transport
Get an Oyster card or use contactless payment for the Tube and buses. As a student, you may be eligible for a 30% discount on travel cards.
Healthcare
Register with a local GP (General Practitioner) as soon as you arrive. The NHS provides free healthcare to UK residents and students who have paid the healthcare surcharge.
Banking
To open a UK bank account, you will need a 'Bank Letter' from the university confirming your student status. You can request this from the Student Services desk.
Code of Conduct
We are committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive community. All students are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct, which prohibits harassment, discrimination, and academic misconduct.
