Our Story

From a bold idea in 2005 to a global institution.

Every great institution starts with a question. For us, in 2005, that question was simple: "What if business education looked less like a lecture hall and more like a boardroom?"

2005: The Beginning

The London School of Business was founded in a small office in Shoreditch, the creative heart of London. We started with just 50 students and a handful of visionary faculty members who believed that business is best learned by doing.

Our initial cohort was small, but their ambition was limitless. They were the pioneers who helped us define our "learning by doing" philosophy, working on real projects for local startups from day one.

2012: Global Expansion

By 2012, our reputation had crossed borders. We moved to our current campus in the City of London, placing our students next door to the world's biggest financial institutions.

This era marked a significant shift: we began attracting students from over 50 countries, transforming LSB into a truly international hub. We also launched our flagship MBA programme, which quickly gained recognition for its focus on digital transformation and leadership.

Today: Defining the Future

Now, nearly two decades later, LSB is a recognized leader in modern business education. We have over 5,000 alumni leading companies across the globe.

But our core mission remains unchanged. We are still asking questions. We are still challenging conventions. And we are still dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders to shape a better world.
